- SUPERSTITION IN THE WORLD –

Hello and Salam to all the reader. This time I will write about the Superstition in the world. Superstition means in malay Kepercayaan Karut.

What is means of superstition? Superstition means the person who belief in the ridiculous things. In Malay society, too many people are belief in nonsense thing like Sorcery or the magic power, polytheism, superstition or absurd belief, misfortune and so on.

The magic power or sorcery means the person who has the bad intentional to someone. To make this sorcery, person will ask for help from spirit of Satan and genie and then they will start their honour as a deity. They who do this thing have a promise with their genie or Satan. For the example of sorcery things is type of deadly poison made from human hair, picture or something else , call someone name and honour as a deity, ‘Nasi Kangkang’ married woman doing this for make his husband only love and respected him , ‘Minyak Dagu’ man who want the girl or woman his love but the woman not give attention yo them , ‘Minyak Pengasih’ is same like ‘Minyak Dagu’ but have little different thing , and so on. The person who has attack with this type of sorcery can have the remedy but it’s too difficult to find it.

Polytheism means the person who believe in Allah s.w.t. but in the same time they are believe in other god or they will same the Allah with Allah creature. As a Muslim we can be like this because you will lose your ‘Iman’. So, be careful when you do some ridiculous thing.

Superstition or absurd belief is the person who has belief to ghost or it is called ‘belaan’. As a Muslim for sure we have to believe on unseen place or world but we can not to make them (ghost) as our friend. When we make them as our friend they will loyal to us but when you disregard them you will suffer. When they be your friends it is called it as ‘pendamping’ , ‘saka’ , ‘jembalang’ and so on. They are has so many types of name. Other than that, another superstition things like ‘mandi bunga’ , ‘mandi limau’ , ‘mandi minyak’ and so on. ‘Mandi Bunga’ are some ridiculous things who want to looks beautiful, to get their married partner, to get a job and many things other. 'Mandi Limau' are to throw away the unlucky things from your body. 'Mandi Minyak' are the way for someone to be impenetrable, to be strong, to be brave and so on.

Misfortune means look forward about your good or bad luck. Their who always doing this things actually their who not belief to their self and not believe in to the destiny. They think if they know about their good or bad luck they will prepared or ready for make sure it not happen or they will be ready for some thing their don't want.As a Muslim , we have to belief to destiny which is have writen about us when, where, what, who, and other. We have to remember that Allah not give what we can't accepted but Allah know what we can and Allah give to us as a test to seen how far our patient and our 'Iman'.
